MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
We have answered some of the common questions we are asked regarding our Pet & House-Sitting services below. We will always ask lots of questions when we first meet with you regarding your pet or pet's personalities & you can ask us any questions you may have.
We will take your dog in our spacious vehicle fitted with a double Trans-k9 dog cage to the nearest Countryside/Park.
If you or your dog prefer we can walk directly from your home i.e. travel sick/phobia.
Walks are normally 40-60 minutes.
Shorter or longer walks if required.
The first few walks with your dog will normally always be on lead until we are
accustomed to their behaviour and character and they get to know and trust us. We will use long leads and practice re-call with your dog if necessary until we are confident they are re-calling well.
The first few walks with your dog will always be with just us so that we can bond with them properly. We don't walk group packs only pair buddies if suitable. We will ask for all your dogs personality and history on our initial meeting with you so we can ensure they are happy on the walks with us.
We walk, whatever the weather throws at us! leave your dog/s coat out if they normally wear one in bad weather i.e if they are still young, elderly or a single coated breed like a staffy, whippet, greyhound.Only in the most severe weather conditions causing a possible danger to life, very strong gales, snow blizzards and extremes of temperature will we contact you to cancel a walk, if your dog is home alone we will en-devour to provide a visit to them instead.
If your dog is unwell or seems under the weather please let us know. We are well equipped to deal with the odd mishap occurring and carry a Pet First Aid kit in the van. We will contact you with any concerns regarding your pets health and welfare, and in an emergency situations will take them directly to a veterinary hospital. We will discuss your pets veterinary information on our initial meeting with you.
Be assured, we will always contact you or your nominated emergency contact if we feel your pet is unwell and take them to the vet directly.
We will discuss with you on our initial meeting the arrangements regarding the keys for your property. We are happy to hold a key so that you can call on us to provide pet care visits as and when you need us, avoiding having to drop them to us every time you need pet-care. If we are providing regular dog walking we will need a key if you are out at work or you can provide the code for a key safe, whichever you prefer. For security all keys are labelled with just the pets name and our contact information.
We move into your home and look after your pet/s and your property. We will go through a detailed plan regarding your pet/s and your property care when we have our initial meeting with you.
We will normally arrive to begin a house-sit within an hour or two of you leaving. We can sometimes pre-arrange to arrive shortly before you leave and take the dog/s out for a walk (so you can slip-away) if this is helpful.
We will shop for our own food.
Please leave us some space a draw/shelf in the fridge & freezer.
We will use the ones you provide if that's ok and pop them in the wash before your return time permitting, or we can bring our own.
We accept bank transfer or cash. Payment details for bank transfers will be supplied on your bill/invoice which we will email to you.
Deposits are taken to secure and hold all House-Sitting Bookings, also Pet Care visits will need to be secured with a full or part-payment. See our Terms & Conditions for all the details.
