The first few walks with your dog(s) will normally always be with them on the lead until we are accustomed to their behaviour and character and they get to know and trust us. We will ask you about your dogs personality and whether you would like them to walk on or off the lead when we have our initial meet and greet.
We have a spacious estate vehicle fitted with a large double Trans-k9 dog crate, so we are able to take your dog(s) to the nearest park or open countryside to explore footpath trails, woodlands and fields. We respect grazing livestock and follow the countryside code.
If you or your dog prefer we can walk directly from your home i.e. travel sickness or phobias.
We don't walk group packs and will only pair buddies if it's suitable. We will ask you for all your dogs preferences and history on our initial meeting so we can ensure they are happy on the walks with us.
We will discuss with you on our initial meeting the arrangements regarding the keys for your property. We are happy to hold a key so that you can call on us to provide pet care visits as and when you need us, avoiding having to drop them to us every time you need pet care or you can provide the code for a key safe, whichever you prefer.
We will ask you for the times you plan to leave and return to your home, so that we can arrive to begin the housesit within an hour or two of you leaving.
We are flexible and will do our best to accommodate early/late departures, also If you are delayed for any reason just let us know. We will arrange to stay on so that your pet(s) and home aren't left unattended.
If your pet is unwell or seems under the weather please let us know. We will call you or your nominated contact with any concerns regarding your pets health and welfare. In an emergency situation we will take them directly to the vet, We will discuss your pets veterinary information on our initial meeting with you and take all the contact details needed.
We will shop for our own food,
Please leave us some space a draw/shelf in the fridge & freezer.
We will use the ones you provide if that's ok and pop them in the wash before your return time permitting, or we can bring our own.
We accept bank transfer or cash. Payment details for bank transfers will be supplied on your bill/invoice which we will email to you.
Deposits are taken to secure and hold all housesitting bookings, also pet care visits will need to be secured with a full or part-payment. See our Terms & Conditions for all the details.
